Hotel Veniz has been one of the top choices of hotel in Baguio, as it is one of the best in town. It is surrounded by an ambiance where you can feel you are close to nature yet never far from the amenities of city life. It’s a great place to feel the heartbeat of the city thus making it an ideal place to stay in for any traveler especially for a Miss Woman traveling alone.

It is an average 3-star hotel and strategically nestled in the center of Baguio. Though its building looks old, it definitely has a lot to offer and for a price that is very reasonable, you get what you paid for through the convenience it offers. Since location wise is good it’s easy to go to places. Most of the roads leading to Baguio converge at this hotel. Taxis are everywhere, and jeepney terminals to different tourist spots are also just across the hotel building.
The hotel is almost near to everything you need. It’s just a walk away to Session Road and the building connects you to an overpass straight to the public market. You can do your shopping for all the souvenirs you need, visit the flea market for vintage and preloved items, join the bustling night market or you might as well go to nearby malls. You may also do bar hopping for a nightlife, have food trip in daytime or simply have your leisurely walk at Burnham Park. All of them are just a stroll away.

Meanwhile, the hotel rooms are spacious and they have nice comfortable beds. It has cable TV, a mini-ref and the air-conditioning works fine. The bathroom is clean, good sized and well equipped. Its shower has hot water service.

Moreover, a view of the footbridge, the intersections towards its major roads, and the busy night market can be seen from the balcony of the room. Just a room tip, since it is located in the city center of Baguio, you will hear the activities down below the roads especially the noise from the passing vehicles, so upon check-in, if you have the option, request for a room away from the road or the ones that are facing Burnham Park to have a good balcony view of the city especially during sunrise
The hotel has a homey reception and lobby area. However, there are some areas of opportunity for the hotel. Only one elevator is serving the entire hotel, which is sometimes slow. The hotel has wi-fi on common areas and accessible in some guest rooms. At the moment of my visit, their wifi is only at best when you’re in the lobby.

Breakfast is included with the booking and served at Veniz Grill which is the hotel’s in-house restaurant. Overall, the buffet breakfast is okay and acceptable
The front office staff promptly accommodate queries and assistance. They are also ensuring security by being courteously strict and careful through verifying properly that it is the legitimate guest occupant who makes the request. Also, the bell boys are polite and the chambermaids are assistive.
Overall I found my stay pleasant, the hotel to be adequate and the service acceptable, above all the best thing is its location. If you prefer a place near almost everything and at the same time a safe place then this is a good choice of hotel for you. It is a safe place to be in Baguio especially for a solo traveling woman. It is modest yet has functional amenities and you will definitely benefit in the convenience it offers.

During my stay in this hotel, I have slept and rested very well. After a tiring but fulfilling day from touring around Baguio, it is definitely a place that you will want to go to rejuvenate before you would explore more of the city the next day. So whatever takes you to Baguio City, treat yourself and your loved ones to Hotel Veniz.
The chain I have visited is the one that is in Burnham which is located at One Abanao St, Baguio, Luzon 2600, Philippines. But if you want to try a newer one, you can stay at Hotel Veniz Session which is along Session Road and just walk away from the main branch
